Derrick is currently the manager of Telesis, a chemical health program for the Hennepin County Adult Correctional Facility in Minnesota (for both men and women facilities). As the former Senior Trainer for Hazelden Foundation, on a national basis, Mr. Crim instructed clinicians on empirically based treatment curricula for both community and correctional-based treatment programs. Since 1987, Mr. Crim has provided continuum of care services in the field of chemical dependency focusing on client transition back to the community. He has further provided cultural diversity training to counselors and social workers.
Mr.Crim has his BA in Human Services and completed his graduate work at the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies.
