About the Minnesota Prevention Resource Center

The state-funded Minnesota Prevention Resource Center (MPRC) is administered by Invitation Health Institute through a major grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division.

MPRC has provided services to the residents of Minnesota for over 30 years through the development of community campaigns, providing resources through our clearinghouse, facilitating trainings and events throughout the state, and supporting people like you who work to promote the public health and prevent the problems caused by substance abuse. This includes tobacco and drug use, underage alcohol use and the misuse of alcohol by adults.

We recognize that our Web site will not answer every question. If you are a Minnesota resident looking for information about alcohol, tobacco, other drug use or related violence, or if you want to know what works in prevention, call 1-800-782-1878 or 763-427-5310.
