Minnesota Prevention Resource Center Services

As a state-funded project the Minnesota Prevention Resource Center is here to serve you!  In an average year, MPRC will respond to more than 1,200 requests from residents across Minnesota.  These requests vary in regard to their content, but all are related to the many services that we provide.

Throughout the year MPRC sponsors and facilitates a number of different trainings and events throughout the state.  Most notably are the Program Sharing Conference, Shutting Off the Tap to Teens and Young Adults, and the Spring and Fall ATOD Forums.

In addition, MPRC partners with other organizations to plan events that build a greater capacity around substance abuse prevention.  Partners have included Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota; Hennepin County; Minnesota Organization on Adolescent Pregnancy, Prevention & Parenting; Minnesota Department of Health; and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.

MPRC also helps assist in the provision of trainings for substance abuse prevention professionals.  Previous trainings have included:

If you have a specific training need, please contact us about making it possible in your area.
