DrugTalk

Still at work after everyone else has gone home

Drug Talk is a computerized drug information service that was established by the MPRC in 1987. The system is available statewide 24 hours a day, and only a touch-tone phone and a menu card are needed to access Drug Talk's prerecorded messages.

Since July 1, 1998, over 40,000 of the Drug Talk menu cards have been distributed. Callers use the menu cards to access any of nearly 100 messages. The topics of the system range from a variety of drug and alcohol messages to information about AIDS and violence. The system is free, and its design allows callers to remain anonymous. Please call the MPRC to receive your free Drug Talk card.
