Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training (SAPST)

April 21-23, 29-30, 2010
8:00 am - 4:30 pm

This training is open to anyone working in alcohol, tobacco, or other drug prevention in communities within the 7-county metro area who would like to learn more about how to serve in culturally diverse communities.

Objectives

A professionally trained workforce is extremely important to the continuing improvement of substance abuse prevention services in Minnesota. The Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training (SAPST) curriculum is designed to provide up-to-date, evidence-based information to the prevention field. This newly revised curriculum has the most current information available on evidence-based prevention practices and programs.

Registration

Registration Fee: $300.00

Continental Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

If you should need to cancel your registration for this five-day training, please do so at least one-week prior to the training. After this date, as we will have absorbed related costs, you will still be responsible for a $75 administration fee and will not receive a refund. The remaining $225 may be used for an upcoming SAPST training. However, the entire five-day registration may be transferred to another person from your organization who may attend in your place.
