Come Join Us!Welcome to the 2006 Spring Regional ATOD ForumsUNDERAGE DRINKING Click here to download the 2006 Spring Regional ATOD Forums (pdf) Underage alcohol use is both a public health and public safety issue. Several recent tragic deaths, disappearances and assaults have received extensive media coverage. To help prevention professionals, educators, law enforcement and others learn what they can do to prevent underage alcohol use and the problems associated with it, the upcoming Regional ATOD Forums will cover effective strategies that reduce youth access to alcohol. Included in presentations will be information on engaging various community sectors in efforts to reduce underage use and what policies have been shown to deter underage use. Specifically, the forums will address what can be done to reduce both social and commercial access to alcohol by youth. Participants must register at least one week prior to the forum they will attend. There will be no on-site registration. If, after you register, you find you cannot attend, someone else from your organization may attend in your place, provided you inform MPRC in advance. Your nonrefundable registration fee of $25.00 covers program materials, meeting space and lunch. For more information about the training, please email Kevin Spading at kspading@miph.org
